We've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes on MNSC that took up a lot of the moderator team's time the last few months, so our apologies for the tardiness of this update.
November's car of the month is slowcivic's 1996 Civic hatch. The list of modifications is extensive, so be sure to check out the thread, but suffice to say this isn't your average Civic. GSR motor, heavily modified and force-fed are just a few of the highlights.
A big congrats to slowcivic! Perhaps the most inappropriate forum name ever.

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, Michael Lomker passed away over Father's Day weekend. MNSCers decided to pay tribute to him by making his Evo X the car of the month for July. The car, like Michael, is truly one of a kind. He will be missed.

Over the last 10 years MNSC has never had a dedicated paintless dent removal tech. Living in Minnesota, we all know how often our cars are subjected to dings, dents, and the infamous "I don't know what happened honey, that dent wasn't there this morning, I swear.". Some former sponsors have done PDR in addition to general body work, but as most people in the industry will tell you, a real PDR tech has the experience to tackle the tough dents in addition to the stuff you see everyday.
Well, MNSC now has a dedicated paintless dent removal tech. Alan, from Northstar PDR, just finished work on my 2001 Eclipse and came on board as a sponsor. The work he did on the Eclipse turned out fantastic and, in addition to just being a nice guy, it was great that he was able to do it onsite.

The Minnesota sport compact and Evo family has lost one of our own. Michael Lomker (mlomker on the forum), passed away this weekend. He was 38.
Michael wasn't a very active MNSC member, but he was passionate about his car, and the local car community. His Evo X was truly one of a kind, and he's left an indelible impression on everyone who met him.

It's always nice to see someone take the IS350 and make it what it should've been from the factory. SIMPLE's IS350 is a perfect example of that. A few suspension upgrades, a better set of wheels and a couple of aero tweaks makes this IS really stand out.

Congrats to lrl1990 and his Neon SRT-4. MNSC's April Car of the Month.

Perhaps the most loved and abused Del Sol Si to ever exist, Viridion's Honda is truly a workhorse. Both a daily driver and weekend racer, this car does everything from commuting, to autocrossing, to rallycross. Far from stock, this Del Sol is definitely a one of a kind. Congrats to Viridion!
