2001 M3 or 2004 Audi S4

Debating if I should trade my 01 M3 for a 04 S4

M3 is a daily driver for me. Drives decently in this snow with the Blizzaks and some sand bags, but the S4 is much more of a year round car for me.

The M3 is better looking, the interiors both dont do much for, but the 4 doors on the S4 I like as I have always opted for sedans.

What to do, what to do?

B6 S4s are slower than my chipped B7 A4. I wouldnt bother with the V8, unless you plan on supercharging it or whatnot. They sound nice though.

Neither one of the cars are "fast" in a straight line anyways.

I'd go with the Audi. Given the choices Im guessing you arent looking for a fast car either way, so the Audi is much more practical for a daily driver, while still being fun and a more year-round vehicle.

M3 unless you can sell it for a big profit, since I remember you said you got it for dirt cheap. If you can get 2x what you paid for it I would get the Audi.

My RSX is plenty fast for some nice Mexico pulls.

The S4 i like, but it looks like the M3 may stay in the stable..

I can pick up a 04 S4, salvaged of course for 9k.....hence the question to trade out.

Wow 9k for a salvaged 04 S4? I'm guessing you pretty much have to be a mechanic to get one pass the inspection and be good on the road. But if you can do that wow that is a good deal alright.

S4. I was torn for a good 3-4 months on whether to sell the G for an AWD 6 spd S4 (2005) but decided i can't afford the upkeep on something like that lol. My car is dirt cheap to own. I dont have the time/money to be monkeying with the Audi and timing belts and electrical shit, etc.

Every time i see one/hear one, i want one though. That car is like, seductive for me.. idk why. I'm gonna wait until i graduate, and pick up a lease return 2010 S4 supercharged with warranty though. :D
