    Default Headlights

I have been shopping around for headlights to put in my neon. i have gotten tired of the stock ones and i am unable to adjust them so they are always basically point right in front of my car instead of into the distance so that i can see deer and everything at night.

These are some of the choice's that i have found and i was looking for a little input on them. It would be much appreciated. Thank you

    Either these.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-96...Q5fAccessories

Or these. I've seen the output of these with HIDs in them, and IMHO these are the best option. HUGE plus, they come with clear lens fog lights!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...#ht_3247wt_938

EDIT: YIKES! I just caught the price. Here they are for less than half that. without the fog lights.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...#ht_2219wt_958

And the fog lights for $53 with free shipping. $75 cheaper to buy separately! lol

If I had a neon, I would have these lights on it. No doubt in my mind, I've been doing research on them for friends for years, and these are the best light available I think. And so do a lot of people on www.neons.org .

The ones you posted all look like poo.

i don't want flashy chrome headlights though. thats why i looked up the Dual Halo Projector headlights. because i like the black. and black headlights would most likely look better on a black car. rather than chrome that would stick out like a sore thumb.

So your neon is black then? Well those headlights come in black. The ones eagle guy posted are the same ones I posted first, only black.

And here's the projectors in black.

OP make sure you get a projector intended for hid use. I had some in the xB and they worked brilliantly. They were made by Helix. I would not personally buy anything that does not have a plastic cover over it. In fear of rocks etc.

The ones you posted though look really cheap and plastic craptastic. Dont impulse buy, you will regret it. Keep searching you will find somthing eventually.

If you want the best though, for light output, non blinding and no hot spots. I recommend a retro fit. There are plenty of people on here that would hire out for it too.

Don't put HIDs in halogen projectors, either.

These $50 drop-in HIDs on eBay are bad news... a few years back, at least their usage was limited solely to high-rolling retards. Now everyone has them.

When I see an oncoming car with glaring drop-ins, I shine my 100W spotlight in their eyes. Fuck 'em.

The projectors that I posted are H11, and respond extremely well to a PnP HID system, and DDM sells them for $30 (35W) or $40 (55W) and are said to be the best PnP HID kit out there.

The ones I posted, the projectors and fog lights, are made by Depo, and from what I've found (I've been researching aftermarket headlights for years) they are one of, if not the best aftermarket headlight company. Spyder is another great one. But stay away from anything made by TYC, especially if it has a plastic lens. They yellow/crack within a year of sunlight exposer.

Here are some pics of the Depo projectors.

This is the output WITH a PnP 4300k HID kit.

OP These are the way to go IMO. I can't say anything for the high beam, but with a properly adjusted set of good projectors, you won't need high beams too often.

Well, the cutoff is good. I'll give you that. Look how shitty the area under the cutoff is, though.
